Grilled Apple Marinated Pork Chops


Dana says, “I never liked pork chops because I only remember them as drenched in Shake N Bake growing up.” Well, we dressed up this dish using some heritage pork chops from Fresh Direct. We marinate these chops in apples, avocado oil, and Dijon mustard among other things. We then grill them to perfect and enjoy the sweetness of the apple paired with the bite of the Dijon mustard. They are awesome!

4 Bone-in pork chops
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 granny smith apples
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons avocado oil
6 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper


Pat your pork chops dry
Generously salt each side and place in a Ziploc bag
Mix the vinegar, mustard, oil, garlic, and spices together
Dress over the chops in the Ziploc and refrigerate for 8 hours
Heat the grill to medium and grease the grill for nice grill marks
Grill on each side for about  6-8 minutes
Set aside and enjoy about 10 minutes later

Serves 4 (1 chop per person)
