No-Bake Chocolate Tart with Almond Crust (Paleo & Vegan)


I continue to try to find great desserts that allow me to continue to follow my no egg diet. This is another great summer tart that requires no baking. It also combines two of my favorites, almonds and chocolate.

For the shell
1 ½ cups almond flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
Pinch course sea salt

For the filling
½ cup coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Pinch sea salt


Mix shell ingredients in a bowl until combined
Spray an 8-in. tart pan with coconut oil spray
Press shell ingredients into the pan until evenly distributed
While the shell chills in the fridge, prepare the filling
Whisk coconut oil, cocoa powder, and maple syrup in a bowl until smooth
Pour into chilled tart shell and sprinkle lightly with sea salt
Put the tart in the freezer to set for 10-20 minutes
Remove from the freezer and top with raspberries
Refrigerate until ready to serve

Makes 6-8 slices
