Roasted Garlic Herb Butter

Make some of this stuff and keep it around!! It’s great for baked sweet potatoes, inside a grass fed burger, smothered on top a rib eye or finish off a wild salmon recipe.  Take some of your fresh herbs like Chives, Oregano, Rosemary, and Parsley.  Chop them up and add to soften butter.  Return to the fridge to solidify and you just took your butter from zero to hero!!

Ingredients

4 tablespoons grass fed unsalted butter (we use Kerrygold)
1 tsp fresh chives, chopped
1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
1 tsp fresh Italian parsley, chopped
4 garlic cloves, roasted and minced
Sea salt to taste

 

Directions

To roast the garlic, preheat your oven to 375 degrees (I usually do this when I am cooking something else and have the garlic sitting around for this among other uses)
Allow the garlic to roast with the skin on for about 45 minutes
Mince to add to the soften butter and set aside
Microwave or heat your butter until soft in a small ramekin or sauce pan
Add chopped herbs and garlic once soften (make sure not to heat it up too much)
Add a little bit of salt to round out the flavor
Return to the fridge in ramekin and allow to cool for a few hours
Get your other dishes ready as this flavor enhancers is cooling and ready to rock
